Without transfer fee, fees are deducted from your revenue.
Note: Processing fees are calculated per transaction. If attendees purchase tickets separately, each purchase incurs its own processing fee (including the flat fee).
Fee Structure
Platform Fee
Delvent charges a 5% platform fee on all paid tickets. This fee covers:
- Event hosting and management
- Payment processing infrastructure
- Customer support
- Ongoing platform development
Processing Fees
Processing fees vary by payment method. These are charged by payment providers:
- Card (Stripe)
- Bank (Paystack)
- Crypto (USDC)
For USD, GBP, EUR payments:

For NGN payments in Nigeria:

You can choose who pays the fees:

Organiser Absorbs Fees
Fees are deducted from your revenue. The attendee pays exactly the ticket price.
Example ($100 ticket, USD):
- Attendee pays: $100.00
- Platform fee: -$5.00
- Processing: -$3.05
- You receive: $91.95
✅ Best for: Clean pricing, premium experience
Transfer Fees to Attendee
Fees are added to the ticket price. You receive the full ticket amount.
Example ($100 ticket, USD):
- Ticket price: $100.00
- Platform fee: +$5.00
- Processing: +$3.05
- Attendee pays: $108.05
- You receive: $100.00

Setting Transfer Fee
For Tickets
Configure per ticket:
- Go to Event → Manage → Tickets
- Edit a ticket
- Toggle Transfer fee to attendee
- Save
For Add-ons
Configure per event:
- Go to Dashboard → Toolkit → Add-ons
- Select an event
- Toggle Pass processing fees to buyers at the top of the page
Ticket and add-on transfer fees are configured separately. You can pass fees to buyers for tickets while absorbing them for add-ons, or vice versa.

Crypto payments have the lowest fees at 5.5% total. Consider enabling USDC payments to offer attendees a lower-cost option.
Free Events
Free events have no fees:
- Platform fee: $0
- Processing fee: $0
- You receive: $0
- Attendee pays: $0
Free tickets are completely free to use.
When You Get Paid
Stripe (Card Payments)
- Payouts according to your Stripe payout schedule
- Default: 2-7 business days after transaction
- Configure in Stripe dashboard
Paystack (NGN)
- Settlement: Next business day
- Direct deposit to your Nigerian bank account
Crypto (USDC)
- Instant settlement on blockchain confirmation
- Direct to your Solana or Stellar wallet
- Typically within seconds
Tips for Managing Fees
Maximize Revenue
- Enable crypto payments - Lowest fees at 5.5%
- Use transfer fee - Pass fees to attendees
- Bundle tickets - Higher ticket prices amortize fixed fees better
- Offer early bird - Higher margins on discounted early sales

- Absorb fees - Simpler checkout experience
- Round ticket prices - $100 instead of $91.95
- Include fees in pricing strategy - Factor fees when setting prices
