Managing Your Tickets

View, manage, and use your tickets from your Delvent dashboard.

Accessing Your Tickets

From Dashboard

  1. Sign in to delvent.io
  2. Click your profile icon → Dashboard
  3. You'll see your tickets in the Your Ticket Collection section

Navigate directly to: delvent.io/dashboard/tickets

Ticket List View

Your tickets page shows:

My tickets dashboard

  • Ticket Cards - Visual summary of each ticket
  • Event Name - Which event the ticket is for
  • Ticket Type - The type of ticket you purchased (with badge)
  • Event Date - When the event takes place
  • Location - Venue address
  • Ticket Code - Unique identifier for your ticket
  • Checked In badge - Shown if you've been checked in

Filtering Tickets

Use the tabs to filter your tickets:

  • All - All your tickets
  • Upcoming - Events that haven't happened yet
  • Past - Events that have already occurred

Searching Tickets

Use the search bar to find tickets by:

  • Event name
  • Venue
  • Ticket code

Ticket Card Actions

Each ticket card has buttons for quick actions:

  • View Ticket - Opens the full ticket detail page
  • Download Ticket - Downloads a PNG image of your ticket with QR code
  • View Program - Opens the event program/schedule (shown if the event has an agenda)

If your ticket is eligible for an upgrade, you'll see an Upgrade available link.

Ticket Details

Click View Ticket on any ticket card to see full details:

Event Information

  • Event Banner - Event image or gradient header
  • Event Name - Full event title
  • Date & Time - Schedule (supports multi-day events)
  • Location - Venue address

Ticket Information

  • QR Code - Scannable code for check-in
  • Ticket Code - Your unique ticket identifier
  • Attendee - Your name and email
  • Ticket Type - Ticket name and type badge (Free or Paid)
  • Checked In badge - Shown if you've been checked in

Action Buttons

At the bottom of the ticket detail page:

  • Upgrade Ticket - Upgrade to a higher-tier ticket (if eligible)
  • Print / Download Ticket - Print or save your ticket

Using Your Ticket

At the Event

When you arrive at the event:

  1. Show QR Code - Open your ticket and display the QR code
  2. Staff Scans - Event staff will scan to verify
  3. Check-In Complete - You're marked as attended

Virtual Events

For virtual events:

  • Access link is provided after purchase
  • May be revealed closer to event time
  • Check your ticket details or email for the link

Ticket Upgrades

If the event offers ticket upgrades and your ticket is eligible, you can upgrade to a higher-tier ticket.

Ticket upgrade options

Upgrade Eligibility

You can upgrade your ticket if:

  • You haven't been checked in yet
  • The event hasn't started
  • It's an individual ticket (not a group ticket)
  • Higher-tier tickets are available

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to your ticket details
  2. Click Upgrade Ticket or the Upgrade available link
  3. Select the new ticket type from available options
  4. Review the cost breakdown:
    • Price difference
    • Platform fee (5%)
    • Processing fee (for card payments)
  5. Choose payment method
  6. Click Pay & Upgrade (card) or Continue to Payment (stablecoin)
  7. Complete payment
  8. Your ticket is upgraded instantly

Upgrade Pricing

You pay:

  • Price Difference - The difference between ticket prices
  • Platform Fee - 5% of the price difference
  • Processing Fee - Card processing fee (not charged for stablecoin)

Payment Methods for Upgrades

Upgrades can be paid via:

  • Card Payment - Visa, Mastercard (via Paystack or Stripe)
  • Stablecoin - USDC on Solana (if enabled by organiser)

Group Tickets

If you have a group ticket, the ticket detail page shows additional group information.

Ticket Transfers

Coming Soon

Ticket transfer functionality is planned for a future release. Currently, tickets cannot be transferred to other users.

Refund Requests

To request a refund:

  1. Check the event's refund policy (shown on event page)
  2. Contact the organiser via their profile
  3. Provide your ticket details
  4. Organiser processes the refund

Refund Policies

Organisers set their own policies:

  • No Refunds - Tickets are non-refundable
  • Full Refund - Up to X days before event
  • Partial Refund - Percentage refund based on timing

Check-In Status

After checking in at an event:

  • Your ticket shows Checked In status
  • Timestamp of check-in is recorded
  • You cannot check in again (prevents duplicates)

Multiple Tickets

If you purchased multiple tickets:

  • Each attendee has their own ticket
  • Tickets are listed individually
  • Each has a unique QR code

Bulk Purchases

For bulk purchases as a single buyer:

  • All tickets appear under your account
  • Each ticket has attendee details (if collected)
  • Share ticket details with each attendee

Email Notifications

For each ticket, you receive automated emails:

Purchase Confirmation

Registration Confirmation email with:

  • Event details
  • Ticket information
  • Payment receipt
  • QR code attachment

Event Reminders

Event Reminder email 24 hours before:

  • Event date and time reminder
  • Venue details and directions
  • Meeting link (for virtual events)

Troubleshooting

Can't Find My Ticket

  1. Check you're signed in with the correct email
  2. Check your email for confirmation
  3. Contact support with purchase details

QR Code Not Scanning

  1. Increase screen brightness
  2. Clean your screen
  3. Ask staff to manually look up your ticket
