Purchasing Tickets
Learn how to purchase tickets for events on Delvent using cards or cryptocurrency.
Registration Flow
The registration process has three steps: Event Detail, Your Information, and Checkout.
Step 1: Event Detail (Select Tickets)
On the event page, click Register Now to start the registration flow.

On this page you'll see:
- Event Banner - Event image
- About this Event - Event description
- Date & Time - When the event takes place
- Location - Venue address (for in-person events)
- Event Instructions - Any special instructions from the organiser
Selecting Tickets
- Choose Currency - If the event offers multiple currencies, select your preferred currency from the dropdown
- Select Quantity - Use the +/- buttons to choose how many of each ticket type you want (up to the maximum allowed per order)
- View Total - See the total at the bottom
Some events offer tickets in multiple currencies. A currency selector appears if multiple options are available.
Ticket Status Indicators
Tickets may show different status badges:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Coming Soon | Ticket sales haven't started yet |
| Sales Paused | Ticket sales are temporarily paused |
| Sold Out | No tickets remaining |
| Code Required | Ticket requires an access code |
| Group | This is a group ticket |
Access Code (If Required)
Some events or tickets require an access code. Events with this requirement show an Invite Only badge.
- Enter the code in the Access Code Required section
- Click Verify
- Once verified, locked tickets become available for selection
Multi-Day Events
For multi-day events, some tickets may allow you to select which days to attend:
- The ticket description shows how many days you can select
- Click the day buttons to select your attendance days
- A counter shows how many days you've selected
Add-ons
Some events offer add-ons like merchandise, drink packages, VIP upgrades, or parking. If available, you'll see an Add-ons section below the tickets after selecting at least one ticket.
- Browse available add-ons
- Use the +/- buttons to select quantities
- Add-ons are included in your order total
- Each add-on comes with a unique redemption code
After purchase, your add-ons appear on the order confirmation page with redemption codes. Present these codes at the event to claim your items.
Continuing
Click Continue to proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Your Information
Complete the registration form:

- Name* - Your full name (appears on ticket)
- Email* - Where your ticket confirmation is sent
- Custom Questions - Any additional questions the organiser requires
Multiple Tickets
If you're purchasing multiple tickets, you can optionally send tickets to different email addresses:
- Select Yes under "Send Tickets to a Different Email Address"
- Enter the name and email for each ticket recipient
For Free Tickets
For free events, click Complete Registration to finish. No payment is required and you'll skip the checkout step.
For Paid Tickets
Click Continue To Checkout to proceed to payment.
Step 3: Checkout
For paid tickets, complete the payment:

A payment timer shows how long you have to complete payment (15 minutes).
Payment Methods
If the event supports multiple payment methods, you'll see tabs to switch between them:
Card
- Stripe - For USD and GBP tickets
- Paystack - For NGN tickets (Nigeria)
Crypto
- USDC on Solana - Pay with stablecoin cryptocurrency
Order Summary
Review your order in the sidebar:
- Tickets - Types and quantities with prices
- Add-ons - Any extras you've selected (if applicable)
- Subtotal - Base ticket and add-on prices
- Discount Code - Enter a discount code and click Apply
- Discount - Amount saved (if discount applied)
- Fees - Platform and processing fees (if transferred to buyer)
- Total - Final amount to pay
Completing Payment
- Accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy
- Click Pay [amount] (or Pay [amount] with Crypto)
- Complete payment through the payment provider

Confirmation
After successful payment:

- You'll see a confirmation page with your ticket details
- If you purchased add-ons, you'll see them with redemption codes
- A confirmation email is sent to your registered email
- Your ticket appears in your dashboard
Free Tickets
For free events:
- Select your ticket(s) on the Event Detail page
- Click Continue
- Fill in your name and email on the Your Information page
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Click Complete Registration
No checkout step is required for free tickets.
Discount Codes
If you have a discount code, apply it in the Checkout step:
- Enter your code in the discount code input
- Click Apply
- See the discount amount deducted from your total
- Click Remove if you want to remove the discount
After Purchase
Once your purchase is complete:
Confirmation Email
You'll receive a Registration Confirmation email containing:
- Event details
- Ticket information
- Unique ticket code
- QR code for check-in
You'll also receive an Event Reminder email 24 hours before the event.
Dashboard Access
View your ticket anytime:
- Sign in to Delvent
- Go to Dashboard → My Tickets
- Click on your ticket for details
QR Code
Your ticket includes a QR code for:
- Quick check-in at the event
- Verification by event staff
- Access to your ticket details

Troubleshooting
Payment Window Expired
If the 15-minute payment window expires:
- You'll be returned to the ticket selection step
- Your ticket selection is preserved
- Simply proceed through the steps again to complete purchase
Payment Failed
- Check your card details are correct
- Ensure sufficient funds
- Try a different payment method
- Contact your bank if the issue persists
No Confirmation Email
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify the email address you entered
- Sign in to dashboard to check ticket status
- Contact support if needed
